4Days4Life course in Vedic Meditation
The 4Days4Life course is four 60-90 minute sessions over four consecutive days. By the end of the four classes you will be a self sufficient meditator with a practice for life.
The technique you’ll learn is Vedic Meditation, which is practiced for 20 minutes twice a day with eyes closed while sitting comfortably in a chair. Meditators are introduced to a sound, or mantra, to take their mind deeper, leading to deep rest and relaxation.
Anyone can do this meditation. You cannot be a “bad” meditator, conversely you can’t be a “good” meditator. You simply practice the technique. However, a level of skill is required to master the subtleties of using the mantra/sound. It’s important to note, there is no concentration or control of the mind. There is no “clearing the mind’ of thoughts. It is significantly different from what you learn via an app or in a yoga class. This technique can only be learned in person with a teacher.
Small groups of up to eight people. Private courses are available on request.

ORIGINS OF VEDIC MEDITATION
Vedic Meditation began in the geographic region now known as India, more than 2500 years ago.
The technique was designed for the average person, not monks or reclusives, who wanted to be calm and peaceful while engaged in everyday life.
Vedic culture was an extremely creative period in history. Sacred texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, the healing modality Ayurveda and the Sanskrit language, were all products of this time.
