None of them is necessary, but all have the potential to supercharge your experience.
The techniques are:
Breath work - alternative nostril breathing (pranyama)
Rounding - a series of stretches (asanas) , plus breath work, plus 20 minutes meditation.
Advanced mantra - advanced mantras are available after practicing meditation for a year.
Rounding workshops are conducted in New York City and on retreat.
